What do six friendships, three couples, and one combined passion for craft beer equal? It equals the shared partnerships that make up the Brewster’s Mill Brewing Company dream team.
Although, we all started out as good friends, we never realized how important our friendships would be when we began our business venture together, especially during the trying times the world was throwing at us. During our year-and-a-half journey, it didn’t take us long to appreciate it took 100% of our teams’ effort and determination to make our brewery in Grand Bend become a reality.
One would think bringing six unique personalities together in a partnership would have its challenges, try again. In fact, our biggest challenge was the personality of our building and the many facades it was transformed into over the decades. This old building never let up on us, nor gave us a break. We thought the best plan of attack was to work with it, and not against it, to bring it to life as Brewster’s Mill Brewing Company.
But, we honestly started to question whether our brewery was ever going to get off the ground. And as the saying goes, if we didn’t have bad luck, we wouldn’t have any luck at all. It was our teams’ perseverance, hard work, sense of humour, and our “one-day-at-a-time” attitude that pulled us through. One thing we had going for us, was that we all had the same vision for a welcoming, modern rustic atmosphere. That is what we wanted to create for you when we officially opened the doors of Brewster’s Mill Brewing Company in July 2021.
We are proud to recognize that it takes our combined diversity of knowledge and expertise from all of our partners, contributing to every aspect of the Brewster’s Mill business. From the beginning of our craft brewery dream, from concept to planning… to the design and construction of our building… to mastering our desired beer flavour profiles for optimum customer satisfaction… and so much more. Our diverse backgrounds and personalities bring so many strengths to the table.
